VSG 38135 Description
The Rope Logic Poison Hi-Vy Friction Saver is a one-size-fits-all adjustable friction saver that brings rope-friendly friction management to any branch diameter, from a wrist-sized branch up to the full circumference of the device, which can also anchor a climbing line directly to a trunk as large as the device can encircle. Unlike fixed-ring friction savers that only work within a narrow diameter range, the Poison Hi-Vy’s adjustable design covers the full range of anchor positions an arborist encounters in the canopy.
The saver can be set from the ground or from within the crown, giving the climber flexibility to rig without the setup positioning limitations of ring-based savers. Once the climb is complete, a simple overhand knot tied in the end of the climbing rope allows the entire friction saver system to be reeled in from the ground during breakdown, a faster and simpler retrieval than the systems it replaces.
Rope runs smoother, stays cleaner, and abrades less when threaded through an adjustable friction saver, the device separates the climbing line from direct bark contact at the wrap, extending rope life on every climb. Scannable compatible for track-and-trace capability.
