VSG 33747 Description
Split tails with eyes on both ends create what tree climbing instructors call a closed system, both ends of the friction hitch attach to the connector rather than leaving one end loose. This changes how friction distributes across the knot, and the result is a hitch that grabs reliably but releases more smoothly than single-eye or traditional hitches.
Rope Logic built this one from 10mm Bee-Line cord with a Grizzly splice termination on each end. The splice construction is done by Rope Logic’s own team rather than sewn or knotted. At 26 inches eye to eye, it’s sized for use with most standard arborist friction hitches.
Using both eyes with a micropulley that fair-leads the hitch makes single-handed slack tending noticeably easier, the cord feeds through the pulley cleanly without twisting or binding. Scannable for track and trace. Made in the USA.
