VSG WSTAR-30-GSS Description
The Notch Wrap Star 9.1mm x 30-foot sling combines an HMPE (high-modulus polyethylene) core with a braided Polyester/Technora® cover, a fiber pairing that delivers high heat resistance and excellent abrasion resistance in the demanding friction environments of arborist rigging and lowering work. The Technora® fiber in the cover contributes heat resistance well above standard polyester covers, making the Wrap Star suitable for use in rigging applications where friction heat builds up at the contact point.
The 24-strand double-strand cover construction provides a firm, round shape that grips hitches well and handles consistently in field conditions. The flexible cover construction allows efficient hitch release when the load is removed, a characteristic that reduces the effort required to untie or slide friction hitches during active rigging sequences. Sewn eyes are stitched by Rope Logic to the Grizzly designation for consistent quality and strength testing.
