VSG 40079 Description
A felling wedge does one job: keeps the saw pinched and directs the fall. Notch built this one out of high-impact ABS plastic, stiff enough to hold, light enough to carry a few without noticing them.
The 10-inch wedge is double-tapered and textured on both sides, which helps it stay put once you drive it in. The Easy-Head grip gives you something to hit cleanly, and the color-coded head makes the 10 in. easy to distinguish from the 8 in. and 5.5 in. options at a glance. Ruler indicators along the sides let you gauge kerf depth without pulling a tape.
