VSG CATH-1 Description

The Notch Catalyst is a full-featured professional arborist harness engineered for comfort and precision fit in the canopy. Custom EVA molded back and leg panels contour to the body while integrated ventilation channels circulate air across the back and leg surfaces, addressing the heat and fatigue that builds during extended climbing sessions in warm weather.

Multiple adjustment points at the waist, rise, and leg loops allow the climber to dial in an exact fit regardless of clothing layers or body geometry, no single-zone adjustment that compromises fit somewhere else. The custom flared side D’s are easy and intuitive to clip into during one-handed operation aloft, where accessing a difficult attachment point adds delay and physical demand to the work.

The rope bridge uses a patented Wear Safe ring for the climbing system attachment point, the same wear indicator technology as the Notch Wear Safe friction savers, providing a visual retirement indicator so the harness owner knows exactly when the bridge needs replacement. Molded gear loops provide organized positions for saws, gear, and tools without the soft loop failure modes of webbing-only configurations. Rated connection points are numbered and positioned for intuitive rigging in any configuration.
