The Notch Aluminum Locking Rope Snap is a lightweight, aluminum rope snap designed for arborist climbing and rigging applications. The locking gate provides security against accidental release during rope management operations, with a 15/16-inch (25mm) gate opening that accommodates most arborist ropes and rigging setups.
At 6-1/8 inches in height, the snap provides adequate reach for connecting ropes, lanyards, and rigging components without adding unnecessary bulk or weight. Tensile strength is 27kN (6,070 lb) with a 607 lb working load limit. The red finish aids visibility in field conditions. Lightweight aluminum construction over steel reduces the weight contribution of hardware in a full climbing kit.
