The Notch Ergo Steel Climbers are professional-grade arborist climbing spurs designed for tree climbing and work positioning on live timber. The Ergo design positions the gaff and ankle cuff for a more natural leg position during the climbing motion, reducing the lateral ankle stress that accumulates during extended climbs and improving the consistency of gaff placement with each step.
Included tree gaffs are purpose-built for climbing live trees, with the geometry designed to penetrate bark and hold cleanly without the over-penetration that damages live tissue unnecessarily. Multiple adjustment points throughout the cuff and strap assembly allow a precise fit for different leg dimensions and boot styles. All pads are secured with Velcro for fast field removal and replacement without tools, and replacement components for every wear surface, cuff screws, eye bolts, pads, stirrups, gaffs, and foot straps, are available separately from Richardson Saw.
Steel construction provides long-term durability for daily commercial arborist use. Pair includes both left and right climbers. Replaces Notch part number 41150.
