Built for all-day productivity, the ECHO EDR-260 engine drill delivers professional-grade hole-making performance from a compact 25.4cc 2-stroke engine. A 17.1:1 gear reduction and 12 ft-lb of torque drive a 1/2-inch keyed chuck through soil, clay, and planting media at 0–650 RPM variable speed — forward and reverse — with enough control and power for precision auger work at any scale.

An all-position diaphragm carburetor with purge pump allows operation at any angle — essential for planting operations on slopes, hillsides, and terraced beds where a conventional carburetor would starve or flood. The throttle lock-out prevents accidental bit rotation during repositioning, and the convenient reverse function frees stuck bits without wrestling with the machine. An ergonomic front handle provides a comfortable grip for extended sessions.

Compatible with a range of drilling attachments including ECHO auger bits (2.5″, 3″, 7″ gallon pot auger), the EDR-260 adapts to landscape planting, soil testing, and similar drilling applications.
