VSG 34191 Description
The Rope Logic Bee-Line 8mm is a high-performance friction hitch cord built for arborists who prioritize heat resistance and longevity. The material spec is where it stands out: a 100% Vectran fiber core wrapped in a cover that’s 75% black Technora para-aramid and 25% black filament polyester.
Technora is a para-aramid fiber with a high tensile modulus and strong resistance to heat generated during descent cycles and repeated loading. The solution-dyed black cover, where color is added to each filament before weaving rather than applied to the surface, gives it better UV resistance and color durability than surface-dyed alternatives.
At 8mm eye to eye at 28 inches, this is a standard sizing for use in MRS and SRS systems. The Vectran core is low-stretch and handles repeated loading without the creep that some synthetic cores develop over time. Sewn eye terminations on both ends.
