VSG 21964 Description
The Rope Logic 1/2-inch Whoopie Sling is a compact adjustable rigging sling for arborist applications where the 3/4-inch sling has more capacity and mass than the job requires. Made with Samson Tenex-Tec hollow-braid HMPE rope, the sling adjusts by sliding the tail through the hand-spliced center section and locks into position when loaded. Hardware mounts snugly against the tree in seconds with no slack to manage and no knots to tie or untie between rigging positions.
The 1/2-inch Tenex-Tec version carries 10,300 lb MBS, appropriate for lighter rigging loads and friction saver applications where the rope diameter is more relevant than load capacity. Each eye is protected by a Cordura abrasion-resistant sleeve at the contact point. Hand-made by Rope Logic and tested using their 3-Sigma testing process for a more accurate MBS rating than standard single-sample methods.
