VSG KIT210 Description
The Rope Logic 1/2-inch Flip Line is a wire-core climbing lanyard used for spur climbing and work positioning in trees. The name comes from the traditional technique: during spur climbing, the lanyard is “flipped” higher on the tree with each upward movement, keeping the climber secured to the trunk throughout the ascent. The wire core provides resistance to chainsaw contact, a critical safety feature for climbers who work with a running saw while attached to a wire-core flip line.
The KIT210 is the 12-foot version (1/2 inch x 12 feet) of this configuration. Construction is a 1/2-inch braided polyester cover over a 1/4-inch galvanized steel wire core. Each end forms an eye over a steel thimble for clean load distribution and extended service life at the connection point. The auto-locking steel swivel snap has a 5,000 lb breaking strength and rotates freely to prevent line twist from accumulating during positioning movements.

5,000 lb auto-locking steel swivel snap rotates freely to prevent line twist accumulation during positioning movements, maintaining consistent snap orientation for fast clipping and unclipping.
Steel Thimble Eyes
Steel aircraft-grade cable forms an eye over a steel thimble at each end, the thimble distributes load across the eye without allowing the wire to kink or bend at the connection point.
Rope Grab Compatible
Works with a rope grab device at the snap end for adjustable positioning, the rope grab slides along the flip line and locks under load, replicating the function of an adjustable friction hitch.
