Honda Industrial Generators

Choosing a generator will depend on a number of factors, most importantly how the generator will be used. Honda’s industrial generators range in size from 1000 watt portable generators to 10,000 watt generators to power large equipment. All Honda generators are designed to run quietly and efficiently. The small generators run at the noise level of a normal conversation, and the loudest is comparable in volume to the curbside of a busy street.

Portable

Honda’s portable EU generators range in size from 1,000 to 6,500 watts. They can be useful for powering smaller equipment on a construction site. The EU1000i weighs less than 29 pounds and will run up to 8.3 hours on 0.6 gallons of gas. The next size up, EU2000i, is available with either a red or Realtree camo exterior and weighs less than 47 pounds. Both work well for small power tools, and supply stable power for computers.

The Honda EB2000i is specifically designed for work sites, and meets job site emission and safety requirements. It is highly portable, weighing less than 47 pounds, and will run up to 9.6 hours on a gallon of gas. This generator can power an small air compressor, circular saw, drills, industrial motors between 1/3 and 3/4 horse power, a portable fan, or a cell-phone charger and laptop.

OSHA Compliant

Each generator in Honda’s EB series is OSHA compliant with ground fault circuit protection on all outlets. These generators are powered by Honda’s commercial 4-stroke engines and are easy to start. At only 71 pounds, the EB3000c is light-weight and is the only generator to feature Honda’s exclusive CycloConverter technology, which creates stable power using less weight. It can power an air compressor, bench grinder, circular saw, concrete vibrator, or drills.

Larger generators in the EB series are equipped with wheels to increase portability. The EB4000, EB5000, and EB6500 can supply an extra boost of 5,000 to 7,000 watts to start large equipment. They are capable of powering a high-pressure washer or a table saw. Honda’s largest industrial generator, the EB10000, can power multiple pieces of equipment at once, including industrial motors up to 3 horse power.

Flexible and Heavy-Duty

Like the larger EB generators, Honda’s EG series are equipped with a one-piece welded metal frame to protect the generator. They are tough and portable, and can be optionally purchased with wheels. These generators, and some of the EB series, can be set to use both120 and 240 Volts, or 120 Volts only. This feature allows for powering larger equipment by making the entire generator output available through any of the 120 volt outlets.
