  • How much fuel the mowers consume vary from product to product, but Toro’s mowers are designed with fuel-efficient engines. For example, in a Reelmaster® 5010-H mower the PowerMatch system saves on average 20% on fuel over a conventional fairway mower.
  • To power your Toro mower, use unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of at least 87 ((R+M)/2 rating method). Gasoline with up to 10% ethanol or 15% MTBE (methyl tertiary butyl ether) by volume is acceptable. Remember to only purchase as much gasoline as you expect to use within 30 days, or add a fuel stabilizer.
