Commercial Performance and Durability
With the optimized Staris series, the designers strategically placed heavier components including the engine, fuel cell and battery to provide increased balance and lower center of gravity. They also use hard hydraulic lines in the drive system, which reduces potential leak points and improves durability and hydro oil cooling.
Further increasing the mower’s durability, the Staris frame is constructed of high-strength tubular steel. In addition, all Staris models feature a flip-up front cover and also a rear cover that lifts and locks into place. These features give operators easy, tools-free access for routine maintenance and cleaning.
Ease of Use and Operator Comfort
Staris designs have a large, open platform with a non-slip rubber mat that makes it easy for the operator to quickly step on or off the mower. It also comes equipped with an innovative suspension system with adjustable isolators. That lets each operator customize the ride quality to their preference.
Exmark also designed the steering system for comfort and ease of use. It includes a front reference bar that lets the operator set the top speed of the mower up to 10 mph. They also optimized the location of key operator controls for easy accessibility.
Options and Features
Staris is available in two models:
- E-Series models, with a choice of 32-, 36- and 44-inch UltraCut Series 3 cutting decks. These mowers feature Kawasaki V-twin commercial engines.
- S-Series models, with a choice of 48-, 52- or 60-inch UltraCut Series 4 cutting decks. These full-size mowers offer a choice of carbureted Kawasaki or Kohler EFI V-twin powerplants.
With each model, Exmark optimizes frame design and caster wheel positioning for each cutting deck width. This gives you a higher-quality cut. Also, you can equip the side-discharge UltraCut cutting decks with accessories that let you mulch or bag clippings.
