If you have an irrigation system to run, a pool to drain, or any location you need to remove water, Honda’s de-watering pumps are the right tool for the job. They’re also currently on sale at Richardson Saw & Lawnmower. Honda recommends their de-watering pumps for irrigation, pool draining, light construction, flood control, and other situations where you need to pump water out of something. You can use them in places with fast water seepage, but they are not designed for slow seepage.
Lightweight Pumps
Pumps in the WX series are Honda’s most basic de-watering pump. They’ll work on clear water, muddy water, muck water and silt water. Both WX pumps feature an easy starting Honda mini 4-stroke engine that runs on regular gasoline.
The WX10 has 1-inch suction and discharge ports, and the minimum capacity to pump 32 gallons per minute. This is the smallest Honda pump and weighs only 13 pounds. It includes a garden hose adapter, suction hose, hose clamps and a strainer. The discharge port adjusts to three different positions for added flexibility.
The larger WX15 is a 1.5-inch pump that weighs 20 pounds. Its minimum capacity is 74 gallons per minute. This pump includes hose clamps and a strainer. Both WX pumps are perfect for the homeowner or recreational use, and the WX15 is strong enough to handle some larger projects.
General Purpose Pumps
WB series pumps are sturdy, general purpose pumps. They’ll work with all the kinds of water that the WX pumps can handle, and they’re also powerful enough for use in manholes and cofferdams. These are the only Honda de-watering pumps that will also work for supplying water to a mixer or paver, concrete curing, or water wagons.
The WB20 is a centrifugal 2-inch pump, with a minimum pumping capacity of 164 gallons per minute, that weighs 44 pounds. The WB30 is a 3-inch centrifugal pump with a 290 gallons per minute minimum capacity. It weighs 57 pounds. Both these pumps use an easy starting Honda OHV commercial engine.
These pumps feature commercial-grade components like silicon carbide seals, anti-vibration mounts, a fixed-mount cast iron volute and impeller, and a large strainer to prevent clogging. They also have full-frame protection to keep them safe on work sites.
High Pressure
WH series high-pressure centrifugal pumps can be used in quarries as well as manholes and cofferdams. They’ll also work to supply water to sprinklers or a nozzle. Commercial grade features like a cast iron volute and impeller to reduce case wear helps increase the life of the pump and a lightweight aluminum case keeps the weight manageable. Both WH pumps are powered by an easy starting Honda OHV commercial engine
The WH15 is a 1.5-inch pump that weighs 49 pounds. It can pump a minimum of 115 gallons per minute, and can supply a maximum water pressure of 55 psi. The more powerful WH20 is a 2-inch pump that pumps a minimum of 134 gallons a minute and can supply up to 61 psi water pressure. This pump weighs 52 pounds.
