VSG 15315 Description

The Rope Logic Whoopie Sling is a time-tested adjustable rigging sling that allows arborists to mount hardware snugly against a tree in seconds, no knots, no slack adjustment. The whoopie mechanism slides by pulling the tail through the hand-spliced center section; the sling locks into position when the center section stretches out along the tail under load. Adjustment and release are both fast, making the sling practical for active rigging sequences where load points change throughout the job.

Made with industry-standard Samson Tenex-Tec, a low-stretch, hollow-braid HMPE rope widely used in arborist rigging for its high strength-to-weight ratio and compatibility with standard friction hitches. This 3/4-inch version adjusts from 4 to 9 feet in length, covering a wide range of attachment positions on different tree diameters. Each eye is protected by a Cordura abrasion-resistant sleeve that extends the sling’s service life at the contact points.

Hand-made and tested by Rope Logic using their 3-Sigma testing process, a more accurate MBS rating method than standard single-sample testing. 20,200 lb MBS.
