VSG 35682 Description
The Rope Logic ROOK TriTech is a complete positioning lanyard system, not just the rope. The 15 ft. kit ships with a Notch Rook Pulley (manufactured by Rock Exotica), a Beeline Black Prusik, two Notch Oval carabiners, and Sterling TriTech kernmantle rope with sewn eyes on both ends, assembled by Rope Logic.
What sets this system apart from a standard positioning lanyard is the mini swivel built into the Rook Pulley. Pulley-based positioning systems can accumulate twist over the course of a day in the canopy; the swivel takes that twist out of the system, so the lanyard stays clean and doesn’t fight you when you’re adjusting position.
The Sterling TriTech rope is a well-regarded kernmantle with good handling characteristics for prusik-based positioning. Rope Logic uses it as their preferred choice for this application. Diameter is 11mm (7/16 in.), available in the 15 ft. configuration stocked here.
