• The ultra-low center of gravity for stability on ever the trickiest of cutting scenarios, achieved by the thick double steel tube main frame construction and low positioned fuel tank with a capacity of 12 gallons.
• Command-Comfort operators station comes with fully adjustable Quick-Fit control levers, 3-position deck lift pedal, torsion spring suspension seat with 4-point iso-mount. The operator’s station has everything you need at arms reach, including Scags Tiger Eye advanced monitoring system to keep a virtual “eye” on crucial operation systems, maintenance, and safety functions. Operator station also includes a 12-volt accessory outlet and convenient cup holder.
• Unlike other mowers, the Scag Velocity cutter deck on the Turf Tiger 2 is powered by a heavy-duty drive shaft connected to a 90-degree gearbox. This establishes a solid connection for a better transfer of power to the blades on the 72-inch Velocity Plus cutting deck, less maintenance over time, and increases the range of cutting height options.
• The Scag Turf Tiger II is driven by dual 16cc Hydro-Gear pumps and Parker wheel motors. Extra-large input bearing, input shaft, and internal components add to the Turf Tiger 2 reliability and performance, each pump is equipped with pressure release valves to reduce internal pressure spikes and increase pump longevity.
• The Ogura CT3.5 PTO ClutchBrake delivers a total 250 ft. lbs. or starting and stopping torque. The Ogura PTO Clutch has an adjustable air-gap to ensure long life.
