The internal taper of Rig guy’s Wire Stop fits over the middle strand of 7-strand EHS cable with the remaining strands surrounding it. The more pressure that is applied, the deeper into the block the strand and taper are pulled. The block is made of 6061 AL and the taper is made of 416 SS for the strength of application and corrosion resistance. Rig Guy Wire Stop holds close to 100 percent of the breaking strength ( more than 15,000 LBS ), although only being 1 1/4 inches long. This wire stop makes a more finished and easy installation due to its small size. It eliminates the need for any hardware such as the J lag, eye hooks, thimbles, through bolts or pre-formed wraps. It can be used in more applications because it is secured on the outside of the limb or trunk.
