If you’re a construction professional, then you know the value of a reliable, powerful cutting tool. Whether your day calls for cutting curbs and expansion joints or trimming metal pipes, you need to know your cut-off machine can handle the job.

That’s the sort of tool you get with Stihl’s Cutquik cut-off machines. These reliable tools are powerful, fuel-efficient, and designed for optimal performance in every situation.

Powerful, Versatile Tools

Stihl offers six models of their gasoline-powered, professional cut-off machines. Each comes with top-quality features, such as Stihl’s revolutionary X2 air filtration system. This system cleans 99.96% of intake air before the air gets to the engine to help keep your machine running smoothly.

Other features shared by all Stihl’s Cutquick machines include an anti-vibration system for operator comfort, an electronic ignition for easy starting and smooth running, and a spark arrestor muffler with large baffles to reduce noise level. A reversible cutting arm lets you cut in either the inboard or outboard position.

Long-Lasting Performance

These machines are designed for easy maintenance and long-lasting performance. Fuel and air filters are easy to replace. The spark plug is protected, yet easy to access. The fuel port has an extra-large opening so it’s easier to refuel. And you can easily take the fuel cap on and off even when wearing gloves.

To help keep the machine running for years, Stihl uses high-tech polymer housings that are both lightweight and corrosion-resistant. Another feature is the 2-ring pistons, which improve engine efficiency and hold compression longer than 1-ring pistons. They also transfer heat from the piston to cylinder better, helping the engine stay cooler and last longer. In addition, long-life cylinders provide optimal cooling, lubrication, and more power output for maximum wear life in the engine.

Additional Features

Certain Cutquik machines also feature Stihl’s IntelliCarb™ Compensating Carburetor. It adjusts the metering diaphragm in the carburetor by measuring air on the clean side of the air filter. The IntelliCarb feature also maintains optimal fuel-to-air ratio to keep RPM levels stable even when the air filter starts to get dirty.

All models except the TS 500i include the IntelliCarb feature. Instead, that model features the world’s first electronically controlled fuel-injection system to increase power without increasing weight. You can learn more about all the features on each model by clicking here.

Battery-Powered Version

In addition to their gasoline-powered cut-off machines, Stihl also created the world’s first battery-powered cut-off machine. The TSA 230 is powered by 36-volt Lithium-Ion technology. It’s lightweight and the price is lower than gasoline counterparts, yet it still offers powerful cutting performance.

Because battery-powered tools produce zero exhaust emissions this cut-off machine is the perfect choice for indoor use. Also, since it’s so lightweight and compact, the TSA 230 offers increased maneuverability and portability.

Whatever you need to use a cut-off machine for, Stihl offers one that’s perfect for the job. From heavy-duty construction tasks, to demolition, to rescue work, to cutting tile indoors there’s a Cutquik model to fit your needs.
