Did you know most of the equipment we sell is manufactured and/or assembled in America? We’ve always been proud of this fact, and so are most of our customers. There are so many upsides to buying products made here in the United States and we want to offer you the option to do just that.

Where’s It Made?

The brands that we sell manufacture and assemble products across the United States. Some brands work exclusively in the States while others have factories all over the world, including here in the USA.

  • Stihl produces the majority of what we sell in Virginia Beach, Virginia
  • Scag manufactures and assembles most of their products in the USA
  • Toro and eXmark have several different factories, most of them in the United States
  • Echo and Shindaiwa assemble their products in Lake Zurich, Illinois
  • Blue Bird and Vortexx manufacture their products in Michigan
  • Honda has factories across the world, including the USA
  • RedMax makes their products in Charlotte, North Carolina

Why Buy American?

Buying products that are manufactured and/or assembled in the USA isn’t just about patriotism. It really makes a big difference to the national and local economy. The more we buy American-made, the more likely it is that brands continue producing in the United States. And that means more jobs for people living in our country.

Supporting USA-based companies also promotes American independence. We have much more autonomy and control over products made here than we do those made overseas. You can rest assured that products made in the United States are meeting high standards for quality control, worker safety, and environmental friendliness.

Why Buy Local?

When people talk about buying products made in the USA, the topic of buying locally often comes up as well. When you buy local, you’re helping your local economy and creating job growth near-home as well as supporting the national economy.

Movements like Independent We Stand (sponsored by Stihl) encourage communities to buy from local business owners. They say that when you buy from local businesses, 68% of what you spend returns to the local economy. But if you buy from a chain, only 43% returns to your community.

Richardson Saw & Lawnmower is a family-founded local business. When you’re buying from us, you’re supporting your local economy and giving your neighbors jobs. And since so many of our products are American-made, you’re also sure of getting high-quality equipment from brands that are making a positives difference to the national economy.
