When you need to kill a large number of weeds, use pesticides on your home farm, or treat an orchard, Stihl has a backpack sprayer designed to fit the task. Their manual sprayer allows for precision application of product and has a large capacity tank for longer use without refilling. When you need additional reach and power, the gasoline-powered sprayers are designed for agricultural and orchard use, and you can also use one model as a duster and blower.
SG Sprayer
Want the convenience of a backpack sprayer but don’t need the extra weight of an engine? Stihl’s SG20 backpack sprayer might be just what you’re looking for. It’s a good choice if you maintain larger properties, but you don’t need or want to spend the extra money for a commercial, gasoline-powered sprayer.
This sprayer has a pressurized fluid reservoir separate from the 4.75 gallon (18 liter) tank. This reservoir lets you maintain a constant pressure of 40 psi (plus or minus 10%), even after refills. The sprayer weighs 11.5 pounds when empty, and the backpack design distributes this weight evenly over your shoulders so you can use the sprayer with less fatigue.
SR Series
If you’re maintaining large properties, plan on using the blower commercially, or spray for agricultural purposes, SR series blowers give you the power and portability you need. They’re our most popular sprayers.
The value-priced SR200 is designed for small tree farms and vineyards. This blower is packed full of convenient features – anti-vibration system, v-shaped fuel tank, comfort padding for your back, and convenient controls. It holds 2.1 gallons (10 liters) of spray and offers a maximum spray range of 18 feet vertical and nearly 30 feet horizontal.
The more powerful SR450 comes with all the comfort and convenience features of the SR200 while increasing the range and versatility. It is a combination sprayer/duster that can also be used as a leaf blower. This blower has a container capacity of 3.7 gallons (14 liters) and a maximum spay range of 43 feet vertical and 48 feet horizontal.
