Toro lawnmowers are an excellent choice for homeowners looking to purchase a versatile, dependable mower. A wide variety of mower models – from small but powerful electric mowers to speedy zero-turn riding models – ensures a good fit for any type of lawn. Toro mowers are durable and low-maintenance, constructed from sturdy materials with time-saving features such as wash-out ports that make cleaning the mower deck as easy as attaching a garden hose.
Cordless Mowers
Toro’s electric lawnmower, the e-Cycler Cordless, weighs only 77 pounds and is ideal for
small yards. Since it runs on a 36 volt battery, there are no fuel emissions and it is environmentally friendly. The engine is easy to start and, with no fuel to check or oil to change, this mower is also very low-maintenance.
The small size and electric charge does not mean you need to sacrifice cutting performance. The mower deck is 20 inches wide and designed for mulching cut grass. The e-Cycler Cordless can cut 7,000 to 10,000 square feet of lawn on a single charge. The battery recharges to 70% in 3 hours, and 100% overnight. For large-scale lawn care, a gasoline powered mower would be a better option, but the Toro e-Cycler is perfect for small lawns.
Walk-Behind Mowers
Recycler and Super Recycler lawn mowers are both designed for easy mowing. The Personal Pace system standard on most models adjusts automatically to your walking speed, so you can enjoy the convenience of a self-propelled mower with the ease of setting the pace yourself. For additional convenience, handles for both series fold so the mowers can be stored upright in tight spaces.
The different Recycler models all come with a 22-inch steel mowing deck that can be adjusted for mow heights between 1 and 4 inches. They are designed to easily switch between bagging and mulching modes without removing the bag. The 20370 model has variable speeds, but not the automatic Personal Pace system. The 20372 is one step up, with the Personal Pace system and a contoured handle. Both weigh 80 pounds. The 20374 is the Recycler model with the most features, including an electric start.
The Super Recyclers have a durable aluminum cutting deck that will never rust, and feature veneered cutting blades, a clipping accelerator and kickers that chop grass into a fine mulch for the best cutting Toro offers. In addition to these features, the 20383 has a Spin-Stop system that stops the cutting blade without shutting down the mower if you need to step away for a moment. The 20384 features an electric start.
Riding Mowers
The Timecutter SS series contains zero-turn riding mowers with 32-inch, 42-inch, and 50-inch cutting decks. For safety, an automatic parking break sets whenever the handles are moved outward. The Smart Speed Control system allows for quickly changing between fast and slow mowing speeds without worrying about adjusting the engine or blade speed. The SS3200 is good for tight areas or yards with trees and landscaping. The larger SS5000 is good for mowing large areas quickly, and has an adjustable seat for greater comfort.
Toro’s TimeCutter MX series has a sturdier build for tough mowing conditions. Cutting decks have a bull-nose bumper and are fabricated from 10-Gauge steel. They have larger hydrostatic transmissions than the SS series, and can supply more power for tough mowing jobs. The MX4260 has a 42-inch cutting deck and two cutting blades, while the MX5060 has a 50-inch deck and three cutting blades.
