With the New Year just around the corner, spring lawn mowing won’t be too far behind. To prepare for keeping your yard neatly trimmed and well-maintained next year, consider purchasing a new riding lawn mower from Richardson Saw & Lawnmower. We stock a wide range of high-quality products by brands you trust like Toro, Exmark, and Scag.
Toro
The TimeCutter series of Toro’s zero-turn mowers offers impressive maneuverability for precision cutting around trees and landscape beds. For more open areas, they have the speed to dramatically decrease mowing time. With Toro’s new cargo carrier now available, the TimeCutter mowers are even more versatile and can haul mulch, garden tools, and equipment for yard work. The carrier attaches to the back of the mower and measures 30″ wide by 23.25″ long by 7″ high.
TimeCutter SS mowers feature an automatic parking break for added safety. Available cutting deck sizes are 32”, 42”, and 50”. An optional bagging system makes yard clean up easy if the cuttings won’t be left on the lawn. The TimeCutter MX mowers are heavy-duty for tough jobs. Both TimeCutter models feature Toro’s Smart Speed control system for increased maneuverability and comfortable seats with an extra-tall.
Exmark
Exmark Quest mowers offer 42” or 50” cutting decks designed for uniform cutting that won’t leave an unsightly trail of grass behind. The deck is easy to adjust for variable cutting height, and there is a foot control that allows you feather the deck and avoid scalping the lawn on uneven ground. The mowing seat is cushioned with spring suspension to minimize vibrations. Vibration is also reduced on the foot mat and hand controls. Like the Toro mowers, Exmark Quest has an automatic parking break.
The E-Series of Quest riding mowers by Exmark are considered premium residential mowers. They are zero-turn mowers that can cut at speeds up to 7 miles per hour. The S-Series of professional lawn mowers is powerful enough for commercial applications.
Scag
Scag zero-turn commercial lawn mowers feature large cutting decks, ranging in size from 48” to 72” wide, and the fastest can reach speeds up to 16 miles per hour. The Cheetah is both the fastest Scag mower and the most comfortable with a coil-over shock suspension system. The newest additions to the Cheetah line are smaller and have a maximum speed of 10.5 miles per hour.
Turf Tiger is Scag’s original zero-turn mowers and it now comes in several different models to run off diesel, gasoline or propane fuel. For a more compact mower that can still handle cutting tall grass, the Tiger Cat is a good choice. Freedom Z mowers are sturdy enough to last for many years of commercial use. Anti-vibration systems and the seats are designed to be comfortable enough for lawn care professionals to operate all day.
