New Models
There are 19 different zero-turn mowers for both homeowner and professional markets. You’re sure to find one that’s a great fit for your own backyard or your professional mowing fleet.
Three new homeowner models offer cutting deck sizes of 42, 52, and 61 inches. Powerful, 23 hp (for the RZ 142) and 25 hp (for the RZ 152 and RZ 261) Briggs & Stratton engines can tackle mid-size or large properties.
Three series of professional mowers offer flexible options for mowing needs. The 500 series is designed for farms, ranches, and professional landscapes. The 700 series offers maximized mowing experiences and gives you Vanguard and Kawasaki engine options. Both the 500 and 700 series mowers are available with 52- or 60-inch decks. The 900 series offers 60- or 72-inch decks and a premium suspension seat. STIHL describes this series as “the pinnacle for pros.”
Key Features
These new STIHL mowers are powered by reliable Briggs & Stratton engines. Other features include greaseable aluminum deck spindles, to make maintenance easier. MARBAIN patented heat-treated cutting blades are durable and provide excellent grass-cutting performance. Shock absorbers on most models improve both comfort and cutting performance when mowing uneven surfaces.
For the professional mower line, one of STIHL’s new innovations is a four-wheel drive suspension system. This system provides height compensation for the mowing deck, making for a more professional finish to the lawn. A two-belt system puts less stress on a single belt to minimize wear.
