Honda Lawn Mowers Why Buy A Honda Mower Mckinney

Honda mowers rank high in customer reviews and consistently feature on lists of top walk-behind mowers put out by publications such as ConsumerSearch.com, The Sweet Home, and Popular Mechanics. But what is it about these mowers that make them such a good choice for your home or lawn-care profession?

Honda Lawn Mowers Why Buy A Honda Mower Mckinney

Reliability

Honda is known for quality products and good customer service. For every new equipment purchase registered with Honda, you receive a distributor’s limited warranty. If mowers are purchased for private residential use, the warranty covers 24 months on HRC series mowers, 36 months on HRS and HRR series, and 60 months on HRX series. The commercial warranty covers 3 months for the HRS, HRR, and HRX series. For the HRC series, the commercial warranty is 24 months on the engine and 12 months on everything else.

Any problems you have with your mower can be efficiently and professionally handled at Richardson Saw & Lawnmower’s service department. We’re a Honda Power Choice Dealer, which means our dealership facility meets and exceeds Honda’s highest standards for sales, training, business, and service on Honda equipment.

Flexible Mowing

One of the key traits that sets Honda mowers apart from the competition is the Versamow system on HRX series walk-behinds. This system lets you choose between mulching, bagging, discharge, or leaf-shred settings. You can even use the Clip Director to mulch and bag at the same time while also controlling how much grass is mulched and how much is bagged. This lets you mulch without leaving clumps even when the grass is wet or overgrown.

The one down-side to HRX series mowers is that the superior features make them more expensive than many other walk-behinds. Opting for a less-expensive Honda mower still gets you many great mowing options, though. The HRR series mowers come standard with rear bagging, mulching, and rear discharge, and the commercial HRC series mowers come standard with mulching, bagging and optional side discharge. The least-expensive models in the HRS series don’t bag, but still offer mulching with side discharge.

Selection of Features

Honda mowers offer you quite a wide range of flexibility in choosing different features. In addition to choosing between different mowing systems, you can also opt for push-type or self-propelled mowers, recoil or recoil/electric starts, and mowers with fixed or multi-position handles. Click to compare features quickly using this handy chart from Honda.

HRX series mowers offer the most premium features. These include the Versamow system, Roto-Stop blade stop system, Cruise Control hydrostatic transmission, electric start, and the incredibly durable NeXite deck. HRR series are a blend of quality features and great value. Depending on the model you choose, they offer features including electric start, Smart Drive variable speed, and two-position EZ fold handles. Budget HRS mowers offer exceptional maneuverability and performance while keeping the price low. They feature Honda’s heavy-duty steel deck, twin-blade mowing system, 6 cutting heights, and easy-starting auto-choke.
