Honda water pumps feature quality construction, backed up by a 3 year warranty on most models. They are designed to ensure reliable performance for many years, and even the smallest models for recreational use feature commercial grade engines. There are several different models available for a variety of uses including general purpose de-watering and construction work. Submersible models are available as well.

General Purpose Pumps

Honda’s WB20 and WB30 are general purpose pumps. Both have the protection of a full, heavy-duty frame and include a strainer. These pumps are appropriate for use in clear, slimy, muck, and silt water. They can be used in manholes, cofferdams, and quarries. They are not designed for use on water with a high solid content. The WB20 has a 2-inch diameter suction port, can discharge 164 gallons a minute, and runs on a Honda GX120 OHV commercial grade engine. The WB30 has a 3-inch diameter suction port and Honda’s GX160 OHV commercial grade engine that will pump 290 gallons a minute. Both engines are designed for easy starting.

Lightweight Pumps

For a lighter weight general purpose pump, Honda offers the WX10 and WX15. These use aluminum instead of cast iron in their construction, and have an easy-carry handle to increase portability. They can be used to pump clear, slimy, or muck water. The WX10 also comes with a garden hose adapter. Each of these pumps runs off an easy starting Honda mini 4-stroke commercial grade engine. The WX10 has a suction port diameter of 1-inch and a discharge capacity of 37 gallons per minute. The WX15 has a 1.5-inch suction port and pumps 72 gallons of water per minute. They would be a good fit for homeowners, gardeners, and boat owners.

Trash Pumps

The WT20, WT30, and WT40 pumps are heavy-duty, powerful pieces of equipment for professional use. They have all the features of the general purpose pumps, with more powerful engines and a wider range of applications. These pumps can handle water with a high solid content and even be used in septic tanks. They all feature quick-clean out ports for easy maintenance. The WT20 pump has a 2-inch suction port and can pump 185 gallons a minute. The WT30 has a 3-inch suction port and discharges 317 gallons per minute. The WT40 pump has a 4-inch suction port and pumps 423 gallons a minute. All three pumps have a cast iron impeller and volute. The WT30 and WT40 can be used to supply non-potable water wagons.
