As we work around our yards, there are a lot of different tools we can use. Lawnmowers and trimmers to cut the grass, edgers to clean up along sidewalks and gardens, spreaders for fertilizer, sprayers for weed killer, and chainsaws for pruning and cleanup work. Having the right tool for each job you tackle can make a world of difference.
Here at Richardson Saw & Lawnmower, we stock a variety of Shindaiwa Products for use around the yard. Shindaiwa’s homeowner and professional tools include blowers, chainsaws, brushcutters, edgers, hedge trimmers, sprayers, spreaders, and string trimmers. We also have a full service department for maintenance and repair of all Shindaiwa products – just in case you need some help keeping your equipment running smoothly.
Grass Care Tools
Spreaders are great for evenly covering a yard in dry fertilizer or herbicides. A rotary agitator in each spreader stirs materials. They are factory calibrated for even application of several different grain sizes. All four of Shindaiwa’s spreaders have large rubber wheels to keep them rolling smoothly whatever terrain you’re working on. They’re also constructed to last a long time. The RS40, RS60, and RS76 spreaders have an epoxy-powder coated frame to fight corrosion and the RS76S is made from stainless steel.
For applying liquid fertilizers and herbicides, Shindaiwa offers five models of handheld and backpack sprayers. Each sprayer’s tank has UV inhibitors and is marked in both gallons and liters. Other than the smallest handheld sprayers, each one features a 28-inch wand that includes three nozzles: brass adjustable, fixed fan, and fixed cone. All models also feature a reliable piston pump with VITON™ seals.
Trimming and Brushcutting
Shindaiwa offers several powerful, lightweight string-line trimmers. The trimmers come with comfortable ergonomic handles to ensure operator comfort even if you’re using the trimmers all day. Each model comes with Speed-Feed® cutting heads that re-load in seconds; no dis-assembly required. Two of their trimmers are also equipped for brush cutting with barrier bar, blade-mount hardware, and harness to make them more versatile.
For thick undergrowth and tough weeds, Shindaiwa’s brushcutters give you the flexibility and cutting power you need to handle any brush-clearing task. These models feature a bicycle-style handlebar with comfortable rubber grips. To make these cutters more versatile, both come standard with a Speed-Feed® head, along with blade mount hardware.
Hedge and Tree Care
There’s a Shindaiwa trimmer for every type of hedge. All of them feature extra-sharp, double reciprocating blades so you can cut hedges quickly and cleanly on the first pass. Two of the trimmers are lightweight models with double-sided blades and a rotating handle. The other two are single-sided and come fitted with a debris sweeper for easy cleanup.
Shindaiwa also offers shafted hedge trimmers for taller, hard-to-reach hedges. They feature the same sharp, high-quality cutting blades as the other trimmers but with shaft lengths from 29-inches to 57-inches. Each trimmer features a fixed or adjustable articulated gear case, depending on the model.
For more heavy-duty trim work in large hedges and trees, Shindaiwa offers professional-grade chainsaws. These saws offer high-performance, easy handling, long-lasting durability, and outstanding design to deliver reliable performance even in the harshest conditions. There are seven models to choose from, so you’re sure to find a Shindaiwa chain saw that’ll work for your yard care needs.
Cleanup Tools
Maintaining a crisp edge along sidewalk, driveways, and garden borders gives your entire yard a more professional look. Edgers are a great tool for homeowners and professionals who want a cleaner look for the edges of lawns after they’re done mowing. Shindaiwa’s edgers power through the toughest jobs with commercial-grade features including height-adjustable guide wheel, open-face shield, steel skid plate, and high-performance engines.
Blowers are a great tool for clearing leaves off a lawn or cut grass off a sidewalk. Shindaiwa offers some of the most powerful handheld models on the market as well as two of the largest displacement engines in the backpack market. These blowers are durable and powerful with great fuel efficiency. To make them more comfortable to use, the backpack models feature double-adjusting shoulder straps, padded backrests, and ergonomically positioned control.
Multi-tool Systems
Shindaiwa’s multi-tool system provides maximum versatility from a single tool. If you’re using a multi-tool, you only have to perform maintenance on a single engine in order to power multiple tools. It also saves on storage space to store a powerhead and several attachments instead of individual tools for each task.
There are two powerheads in Shindaiwa’s multi-tool line: the versatile, economical M235 and the more powerful M262. The attachments they offer include several different styles of string-line trimmer heads, brushcutters, edgers, pole pruner saws, hedge trimmers, and edgers. They also offer tiller/cultivator head s and PowerBroom attachments.
Shindaiwa backs up their promise of performance and dependability with a two-year commercial warranty and five-year consumer warranty. And you can buy with confidence from Richardson Saw, a Shindaiwa dealer that promises to service what we sell to help keep your new equipment working well for many years to come.
